1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy describes how Time Never Stops, LLC collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information when you use GTX, our mobile application and related online services (together, the “App”). We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling data responsibly.
By creating an account or using the App, you acknowledge this Policy. Our Terms of Service also apply.
2. Information we collect
Depending on how you use the App, we may collect:
- Account and contact data: Email address, account credentials, and authentication information associated with your login.
- Purchases and subscriptions: If you subscribe or buy Paid Features, payment is processed by Apple, Google, or another authorized payment processor. We typically receive subscription or purchase status, product identifiers, and related transaction metadata, not your full payment card details.
- Profile and identity information: Display name, photos, date of birth (used in part to compute age), headline, bio/details, pronouns, sexual orientation, gender identity, ethnicity, height, weight, relationship status, intimate/social preferences you choose to provide, social links, interests/tags (including likes and dislikes), and visibility preferences (for example, whether to show age or distance).
- Location and places data: Precise or approximate location (latitude/longitude), “home,” work, school, or other saved places when you provide them, market or area selections, place visits (including timestamps and, when collected, visit points and device identifiers tied to a visit), geofence-related signals, and background location when you grant that permission on your device.
- Motion, sensor, and proximity signals: Where permitted on your device, motion or activity data used to improve location accuracy and relevance, and short-range device-to-device signals (such as Ultra Wideband “bump” features) used only when you initiate or accept that interaction, as described in the App’s system permission prompts.
- Media you capture or upload: Photos, videos, or audio you choose to provide for your profile, places, events, or related features.
- Activity and social graph: Favorites, follows, blocks, RSVPs, recommendations you interact with, chat and messaging content, notification preferences, and similar in-app activity.
- Device and technical data: Device type, operating system, app version, time zone, push notification tokens, IP address, crash and stability reports (for example via Firebase Crashlytics), and diagnostic or usage events captured through our analytics tools.
- Derived and model-generated data: Internal scores, recommendation features, and optional AI-assisted summaries or profiles (for example, a personality-style profile) produced from your activity when that feature is enabled.
3. How we collect information
- Information you provide: Registration, profile edits, content you upload, messages you send, and settings you choose.
- Device permissions: Location (including background location), notifications, motion/activity, camera, microphone, photo library, Face ID or device biometrics (if you enable them for sign-in), nearby-device / Ultra Wideband features for bump-to-connect, and other permissions you approve in iOS or Android settings.
- Automatic collection: Server logs, API requests, cookies or similar technologies where used on our websites, and analytics events from the App.
- Third-party integrations: When you use maps, social or OAuth sign-in (such as Google), or other integrated services, those providers may collect information under their own policies.
4. How we use information
We use personal information to:
- Operate the App, authenticate users, and maintain accounts and profiles.
- Provide location-based discovery for places, events, and community content tailored to your interests.
- Personalize recommendations, feeds, and notifications (including proactive or character-driven messages if you enable them).
- Enable social features such as public profiles, follows, sharing, and proximity-based prompts (for example, suggesting you share your profile when another user is nearby).
- Power AI-assisted features (including chat and content understanding) using service providers such as Google’s Gemini, as described in Section 6.
- Conduct internal analytics, product improvement, fraud prevention, abuse detection, and modeling (which may use de-identified or aggregated data where appropriate).
- Comply with law, enforce our Terms, and protect the rights and safety of users and the public.
5. How we share information
- Other users: Parts of your profile may be visible to other users in the App according to your settings and features you use. A public profile view is designed to show information such as your name, headline, pronouns, photos, identity tags, interests, aggregate “journey” stats, and follow-related metadata, while omitting precise location pins and certain private fields. Anyone with a profile link (for example, https://gaytravelexchange.com/u/…) may open that public view in a browser or in the App.
- Service providers: We use vendors to host infrastructure, deliver push notifications (for example, Firebase Cloud Messaging), provide real-time messaging (for example, Pusher), run product analytics and crash reporting (for example, Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics), process AI requests (for example, Google Gemini), and display maps (for example, Google Maps and Apple Maps). These providers process data on our behalf under contractual safeguards.
- Legal and safety: We may disclose information if required by law, legal process, or government request, or when we believe disclosure is necessary to protect rights, safety, or integrity.
- Business transfers: Information may be transferred as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate notices and choices where required by law.
We do not sell your personal information for money. Analytics and crash-reporting tools may collect device or app identifiers subject to your device settings and the policies of those providers.
6. AI and automated processing
Certain features send portions of your content (such as chat messages or profile fields) to third-party AI models to generate responses or insights. Those providers may process and temporarily store inputs and outputs under their terms and privacy policies. You can limit some AI-related features through in-app settings where available (for example, toggles related to AI-generated bios or proactive messages).
7. Data retention and deletion
We retain personal information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the App, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
When you delete your account, we delete the personal information associated with that account in our systems, including, for example: your profile; location history and saved places tied to your profile; place visit records; direct and group messages and other chat content; follows, blocks, and similar social connections; photos and media you uploaded to your profile; favorites and activity signals we store for you; and other content and records owned by your profile or user account. This is how the App works today: our database is set up so that removing your profile (and, when it is your only profile, removing your login user account) cascades deletion of that “owned” data in our primary systems.
If you have more than one profile on the same login, deleting one profile removes data tied to that profile only. When you delete your last remaining profile, we also delete your user account and all remaining data associated with it, as described above.
Limited exceptions: We may retain information where the law requires it, or in short-lived backup or log systems until they age out in the ordinary course. Third-party service providers (for example cloud hosts, analytics, crash reporting, or AI vendors) may also hold copies for a period under their own policies and technical constraints; those providers are described in Sections 5 and 6 above. After you delete your account, that data does not remain as an active GTX profile or dataset you can access through the App.
Content you contributed to community surfaces may persist in limited cases—for example, photos you uploaded to a place listing that were approved for display may remain associated with that listing after your account is deleted, unless we are able to remove them without breaking the experience for others.
If we materially change how deletion works in the future, we will update this Privacy Policy accordingly.
8. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information, including secure hosting environments and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Data breaches
If we become aware of a breach affecting personal information, we will:
- Investigate and work to contain the incident;
- Notify affected users and regulators where required by law; and
- Take steps to reduce the risk of recurrence.
10. Your choices and rights
You can access, correct, or delete much of your information directly in the App (including profile data and many privacy-related settings). Full account deletion and what it removes from our systems are explained in Section 7. You may also control location, motion, and notification permissions in your device settings.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights (such as access, portability, correction, deletion, restriction, or objection) regarding personal information. To exercise those rights, contact us using the information in Section 15. We may need to verify your request before responding.
11. US state privacy rights
If you live in a US state with a consumer privacy law (for example California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, or Utah), you may have the right to:
- Know how we collect, use, and disclose personal information;
- Access or receive a copy of certain personal information;
- Correct inaccurate personal information;
- Delete personal information we maintain about you; and
- Opt out of certain processing where applicable (for example, “sale,” “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising, or profiling in some states). We do not sell your personal information for money. If you want to discuss opt-out rights that may apply to analytics or similar tools under your state’s law, contact us.
To submit a request, use the contact information in Section 15. We will verify your request as required by law. Where permitted, you may designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf; we may require proof of authorization. We will not discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights.
If applicable law gives you the right to appeal our response to a request, you may appeal by replying to our decision or emailing the address in Section 15 with “Privacy Appeal” in the subject line.
12. Children’s privacy
The App is intended for adults and is not directed to children. Our Terms require users to be at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
13. International users
We operate from the United States and may process and store information there and in other countries where we or our service providers operate. Those countries may have different data protection rules than your country of residence.
14. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here and may notify you through the App (for example, at sign-in or via an in-app message) when changes are material.
15. Data requests and contact
For privacy questions or to submit requests regarding your data, email support@timeneverstops.com. We aim to respond to verified requests within a reasonable period and as required by applicable law.
